We know it’s tempting to skip these Terms of Service, but it’s important to establish what you can expect from us as you use Edwige Boutique Florist services, and what we expect from you.
Product DisplayAll images, descriptions, specifications and advertising on our website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. Some items are not available immediately and need to be ordered 2 or 3 days before the delivery date which is stated for the products to which this applies. We reserve the right to decline your order for these products.
PricesPrices on EdwigeBoutique.com are displayed in Mauritian Rupees. If paying in a different currency, the price for the goods will be as stipulated at the time you place your order. We reserve the right to make adjustments to the price to take into account of any changes in any taxes or duties, conversion rate or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods on our website is wrong.
WE OFFER A FAST AND RELIABLE DELIVERY SERVICE IN MAURITIUS
Deliveries are available from Monday to Saturday, and on Public Holidays (if the public holiday is not a Sunday) everywhere in Mauritius. For Sunday deliveries for Funerals, please contact us as soon as possible to see what we can do. Rest assured, we want to ensure that everybody who orders from us receives their flowers and gifts as soon as possible. We aim to process and dispatch your order as soon as possible if it is a same-day delivery.
Only you know how fast you need your gift to be delivered so please do allow enough time to avoid any disappointment. If for any reason, we cannot deliver on your chosen date and time we will contact you to re-arrange a different delivery date and time. Make sure you give us the correct delivery details.
Opening HoursOur opening hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
We deliver Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Delivery TimeThe stated delivery time is NOT binding but is provided merely as an indication, unless expressly agreed upon in writing before or after placing your order. Any delay cannot give rise to claims for damages.
We will give top priority to Funeral deliveries over all other deliveries which may cause delays to other deliveries.
We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times agreed at the time the order is placed. Goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside of our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods unless caused by our negligence. As soon as we have delivered the goods you or the recipient will be responsible for them. If you or the recipient delay accepting a delivery, our responsibility for everything other than damage due to our negligence will end on the date the florist or the driver tried to deliver the goods to you or the recipient. If for any reason, we cannot deliver on your suggested time we will contact you to re-arrange a different delivery time.
Same-day delivery means, you MUST order before 2:00 p.m Mauritian time for your order to be delivered on the same day you have placed your order. We reserve the right to refuse same-day delivery orders if the order is made after 2:00 p.m.
We deliver Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Their is no additional fees on top of the normal delivery fees to benefit from our same-day delivery service.
Due to unforeseen circumstances it could happen that we may not be able to honour the Same-day delivery service. We will let you know if ever we cannot, so we can arrange a different delivery date and time.
4-Hour Delivery window serviceOur 4-hour express delivery service applies to same-day delivery, which means that you need to place your order and pay before 2 p.m. to have your flowers and gifts delivered on the same day within a 4-hour window as long as:
- there is stock availability,
- the recipient is available to accept the delivery,
- the driver is available to deliver,
- the location,
- we have received full payment of your order
- and other factors that are not within our control.
This time frame starts from the moment we have received your payment in full. The 4-hour express delivery service does not include any additional cost on top of the normal delivery service charge. The 4-hour express delivery is not binding and cannot be guaranteed as it depends on the above mentioned factors, but we will do our best to deliver within this time frame.
Delivery FeesPlease note that delivery charge is not included in the price shown on our website. Delivery cost may vary depending on the region of the delivery address. You may use our delivery calculator to compute your delivery cost. The delivery cost will be confirmed when you checkout and displayed on your Order Summary before the payment process is completed and this will give you an opportunity to cancel the order if needed. Pick up in store is FREE.
We will attempt to deliver your bouquet in accordance with each facility’s procedures, but cannot be held liable if these procedures prevent successful delivery. Please note that many hotels and hospitals do not permit delivery to individual rooms, and that most ICUs do not permit flower delivery at all.
We will not issue a refund if our driver arrives at the delivery address and is unable to make the delivery to one of these locations.
Please check with the hotel, hospital or other facility before placing your order.
Refused DeliveriesIf a recipient refuses delivery, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Failed Delivery Options
If no-one is available to receive the delivery, our courier will normally follow any delivery instructions provided:
- leave the order in secure place
- or with a neighbour or relative living at the same delivery address.
In the event that we are unable to leave the order securely, the driver may return the order to our workshop and call the recipient to reschedule delivery or collect the order from our workshop.
If no action is taken, the courier will normally re-attempt delivery later during the day or the following working day. Please note that only one re-delivery attempt will be made. If the recipient address provided is incorrect or incomplete or if the delivery is refused, we reserve the right to charge up to 100% of the original order value to re-deliver to the same or an alternate address.
Under normal circumstances, we receive dispatch and delivery notifications from our courier. We then use that information to keep you informed of the delivery progress of your order via email and/or SMS message. Please note that this service is not guaranteed and there may be time delays between us receiving a status update and sending you a notification.
Processing your order
Your order will only be processed once we have received the correct payment amount in full.
Payment processingIf you provide us with incorrect or invalid credit card or payment information, we cannot process your order. We will attempt to contact you to resolve the issue, but you will be responsible for any issues arising as a result thereof and for delaying your delivery.
To change your order, please contact Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org . Changes can only be made two business days or more prior to the scheduled delivery date.
If you've placed two or more identical orders and you let us know about it, you will receive a full refund for the duplicated order, provided that the we did not make and deliver the items.
Stock AvailabilitySubstitutions may be necessary to ensure that your arrangement gift is delivered in a timely manner. However, we guarantee that it will be equal or greater value. Preferably, order should be placed 1 or 2 days ahead of delivery date.
Flower AvailabilityAll orders are subject to stock availability. When being impacted by flower shortages, we reserve the right to use available flowers to design your flower arrangement so it looks as close as the one you have chosen. But rest assured we can absolutely guarantee that the end result will really be beautiful.
If we run out of a particular brand of Gift item, we may substitute with another similar or best available branded gift item of equal value or greater value to ensure timely delivery.
Cancellations for a full refund are allowed if made Two business days or more prior to the scheduled delivery date. If an order is cancelled less than One business day prior to the delivery date, no refund will be issued.
If you've placed an order with us and we have reserved an item especially for you and you have made full payment but changed your mind and decided to cancel the order last minute, we reserve the right not to issue a full refund, therefore, we will issue a refund of only 50% of the amount of the product paid and reserved for.
RefundIf you've changed your mind after placing an order and you've already paid, we will refund the amount in full if we had not made and deliver the items. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these goods and we will refund any money already paid for the goods. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses which you may incur if we do not supply goods. If a recipient refuses delivery, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Time DifferencePlease pay attention to the time difference between your country of residence and Mauritius when placing your orders from overseas, as we process the orders during Mauritian Office hours - 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday. The suitable time zone must always be considered so we have a realistic time to process your order and deliver on the requested time and date.
CyclonesPlease note that if there is Cyclone Warning Class 3 in force in Mauritius we will not make any deliveries due to severe dangerous weather conditions. We will deliver your order once it is safe to do so.
We do not offer any credit facilities. Full Payment is required to confirm your order for delivery. Under any circumstances, we will not deliver as long as the payment is NOT done.
We will not, in any circumstances, share your personal information with other individuals or organizations without your permission, including public organizations, corporations or individuals, except when applicable by law. We do not sell, communicate or divulge your information to any mailing lists. We can offer to add your address to our Newsletter if you request it. In this last case, you may at any time ask us to remove your name from such list.
The only exception is if the law or a court order compels us to. We will share your information with government agencies if they need or request it.
Once you have placed your order with us for to send flowers abroad and you have paid for it, and you have chanced your mind, we will not issue any refunds. Confirmed international orders are non-refundable if you cancel.
